In
the year 2000, JIL Information Technology Limited, the InfoTech
arm of the Jaypee Group of Companies pioneered yet another chapter
in the education system of India by developing Bhartiyavidya,
a revolutionary IT-based teaching tool. It enables the teacher
to become more effective by integrating audiovisuals within
the framework of a typical 40 minutes of classroom teaching
along with blackboard, chalk and the teacher’s wisdom
and experience. It simplifies concepts that are difficult to
understand. Adding another dimension of movement and realism,

Concept
The

It

Africa & Colombo have trusted us for Bhartiyavidya
solution. Thousands of teachers are finding this novel concept
of education extremely gratifying. Tens of thousands of students
are currently benefiting from Bhartiyavidya.
These include 140 government schools under the prestigious project
‘Vidya Vahini’ initiated
by the IT Ministry & few Kendriya Vidyalayas & Navodaya
Vidyalayas .
Over the years the contribution of technology to mankind has
been not only in increasing the life span but also in improving
the quality of life for e.g. hi-tech operation theatres have
enabled surgeons to perform numerous life saving operations.
However, while technology improves the quality of surgery it
does not replace the surgeon. This ‘empower but not replace’
role of technology has been the guiding thought for us at JILIT
as we continue to develop Bhartiyavidya
with an aim to empower teachers with the power of multimedia.
The team behind Bhartiyavidya believes
there is no substitute to the emotional interface between the
teacher and the taught. “In this era of changing world
order, where options flow in abundance, we decided to strengthen
the hands of the Guru. We have empowered the teachers with a
mouse so that they can unveil to the generation next what the
chalk cannot! We have filed a patent for Bhartiyavidya.
