Information Technology Limited (JILIT)
JILIT
is the IT arm of the Jaypee Group. With a dedicated team of
over 150 qualified and experienced professionals in the fields
of Software, Hardware, Networking and Connectivity, Multimedia,
Business Development and Domain Knowledge in the fields of Education
and Agriculture, JILIT specializes in providing multimedia services,
content development and its conversion into multimedia visuals.
The list of clientele includes Westermann Schulbuchverlag GmbH
Germany, FWU Institut fur Film und Bild in Wissenschaft und
Unterricht gemeinnutzige GmbH Germany, DSD Dillinger Stahlbau
GmbH Germany, The Parachute Regiment Indian Army, Jaiprakash
Industries Ltd., Jaypee Cement Ltd., Jaypee Institute of Information
Technology, NOIDA and GN Consulting Ltd.,Sahibabad.
JILIT has 15,000 Sq Ft. carpet area, 620 KW (500+120) generators
for power backup, 60 KVA UPS and a large number of high-end
servers. The entire Jaypee group is networked through JPWAN
comprising of hundreds of computers at each location and 27
SCPC VSATs capable of voice and data facility. Out of the 27
VSATs, 10 are capable of Video conferencing. The group has its
own transponder of 9.0 MHz on INSAT3B on Ku band and private
HUB, which is to be operational by end of this year. JILIT is
also in the process of networking group’s Cement Dumps
across the northern region of the country using 107 TDM/TDMA
VSATs along with private HUB located at its Sahibabad Office.
These TDM/TDMA VSATs will also operate on Ku band for which
the transponder space would need to be upgraded by an additional
4.5 MHz.
JILIT maintains and supports the ERP solution adopted by Jaiprakash
Industries Limited (JIL). JIL is the only company in the hydropower
sector to adopt such a solution. Additionally, JILIT has also
developed software for the Share Management System for JIL,
Cement Marketing Management System for JCL and Education Management
System for JIIT NOIDA, JIIT Guna and JUIT Wakhnaghat run by
Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan. |
